Simply elegant best describes the June Earrings from Carolyn Keys. The gently curved leaves are light as a feather and feature dual smooth and rough textures that accentuate the form and catch the light. Each leaf is passed through a high pressure roller to imprint a delicate texture on the outside portion of the leaf, while the central spine remains smooth and polished. Brass earring with 14k gold fill ear wires. Earrings measure 1/2" w x 2 1/4" long.
All jewelry is designed and made by Carolyn in her studio in eastern Pennsylvania. Materials include 14K gold fill, sterling silver, brass, wood and ceramic. Recycled and repurposed materials are used whenever possible. Carolyn’s processes involve hand cutting and hammering metal sheet, forging metal wire, cutting and shaping wood, carving ceramic elements and casting of original designs.
